About the Role:
Hands Plus Physical Therapy is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated PT/OT Aide to join our busy Physical Therapy and Hand Clinic in Santa Clarita, CA! This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on clinical experience in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment where your contributions truly make a difference in people's lives.
Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed Physical and Occupational Therapists in delivering patient care and treatment programs
- Prepare and set up treatment areas, equipment, and modalities prior to patient sessions
- Guide patients through prescribed exercises and therapeutic activities under direct therapist supervision
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic, treatment rooms, and therapy equipment
- Support front office and administrative tasks including scheduling, filing, and patient check-in as needed
- Monitor and communicate patient responses and progress to supervising therapists
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of clinical supplies
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework in kinesiology, health sciences, or related field preferred
- Previous experience in a PT, OT, or medical clinic setting is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient-centered attitude
- Ability to stand, move, and assist patients physically throughout the shift
- Reliable, punctual, and able to thrive in a high-volume clinical environment
- Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn EMR/scheduling software
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
